What our website stores in your browser, and why.

What a cookie is
A cookie, or tracker, is a small piece of information stored in your browser when you visit a website: a cookie file, or data kept in the browser's storage. For example, it lets your cart be kept from one page to the next.
What our website stores in order to work
These items are used only to make the website work and do not require your consent.
| Name | What it is for | Duration | Your consent |
|---|---|---|---|
| seiwatches-cart (local storage) | To keep your cart from one visit to the next | Until you empty the cart or clear the site data | Not required: essential for the service you request |
| seiwatches-destination (local storage) | To remember the delivery country chosen in the cart | Until you clear the site data | Not required: essential for the service you request |
| seiwatches-toasts (session storage) | To remember that you have hidden the notifications on product pages | Until you close the tab | Not required: it remembers your own choice |
| seiwatches-consent (local storage) | To remember your cookie choice, so that we do not ask you again on every page | 6 months | Not required: it remembers your own choice |
Audience measurement and advertising
Here are the measurement tools we use, with their status. Those that set cookies only load after you have given your consent: until you have made a choice, or if you refuse, they are not loaded at all.
If you arrive on our website through a link in an advert or on a social network, that link may indicate where the visit came from (for example ‘instagram’). We pass this information on to Stripe with your order, to know which platform brings us sales. It is carried from one page to the next in the page address: nothing is stored in your browser for this.
When you pay
Payment takes place on Stripe's secure page, which uses its own cookies, essential for the operation and security of the payment (keeping the session open, fraud prevention). They are described in Stripe's cookie policy. If you choose to pay with Klarna, Klarna's page also uses its own cookies, described in its policy.
Your choice
When a tool that requires your consent is active, a banner offers you, on your first visit, the choice to accept all, refuse all or choose category by category. Refusing is as easy as accepting and changes nothing about your visit or your purchases. Your choice is kept for 6 months, after which we ask you again. We also ask you again if we add a tool.
You can change your mind at any time: manage my cookies. If you withdraw your consent, the cookies concerned are deleted from your browser.
Deleting this data
You can clear the data stored by our website at any time from your browser settings (Privacy or Site data section). Your cart will then be emptied.
