Last updated:
1. Scope
These Terms of Sale apply to any order placed on the Seiwatches site by a consumer, that is, a natural person buying for their personal needs. By confirming your order, you declare that you have read and accepted them. The applicable version is the one online on the day of your order.

3. The watches
Seiwatches sells new, authentic Seiko watches. Each product page states the exact reference (for example Ref. SRPD53K1) and the essential characteristics of the watch: dimensions, movement, water resistance, strap.
Seiwatches is an independent reseller. Our watches are bought from a supplier, outside Seiko's official distribution network in France. They are covered by the legal guarantees and by the 3-year Seiwatches warranty, provided by Seiwatches and not by the Seiko network (articles 10 and 11).
The photos show the model. The watch you receive is new and of the reference ordered: before shipping, we send you a video of your watch with its serial number visible.
Some watches belong to a special series (limited edition, series reserved for one market). This information, shown on the product page, comes from Seiko.
4. Prices
Prices are shown in euros on each product page. Shipping costs are added to them: €6.99 for tracked shipping to France, calculated according to the destination for other countries. They are displayed before the order is confirmed. VAT: .
The crossed-out price
On some watches, a crossed-out price appears next to our price. It is the selling price of the same reference on Seiko's official shop in France (seikoboutique.eu), which we check regularly. It is not a former price charged by Seiwatches. No crossed-out price is shown for watches that are not officially sold in France.
We may change our prices at any time. The watch is invoiced to you at the price displayed at the moment you confirm your order.
5. Ordering
- You add one or more watches to the cart, choose the delivery country (France or another country), then click ‘Proceed to payment’.
- On Stripe's secure payment page, you enter your e-mail, your delivery address and your payment method. A summary shows the watches, the shipping costs and the total price: you can correct your order at any time before paying.
- Clicking the payment button constitutes an order with an obligation to pay.
- You receive a confirmation e-mail that summarises your order and refers to these terms.
An order is limited to 5 pieces of the same watch, subject to available stock. We may refuse an abnormal order or one placed in bad faith, for example in the event of suspected payment fraud.
6. Availability
- Seiko 5 Sports and Seiko 5 Sports GMT in stock: the watch is with us, in France. When the product page says ‘Only 2 left’ or ‘Last one’, this figure matches our actual stock.
- Models ordered for you (indicated on the watch's page): we order the watch from our supplier as soon as you buy it. We receive it, check it and film it before sending it to you from France. The photos on these pages are Seiko's official photos.
If a watch turns out to be unavailable after your order, we will let you know without delay and refund all sums paid within 14 days at the latest, unless you prefer to wait or choose another watch.
7. Payment
Payment is made online, on Stripe's secure payment page. You can pay by bank card (Visa, Mastercard), with 3D Secure authentication, by Apple Pay, Google Pay, Link, or in several instalments with Klarna, for example in 3 interest-free instalments. Depending on your country, other methods may be offered, for example Amazon Pay or Bancontact: those that are available are displayed on the payment page.
Payment in instalments is offered and granted by Klarna, subject to its approval and according to its own terms, which you accept on its page. Seiwatches receives payment for the full order; your instalments are owed to Klarna.
Your account is debited at the time of the order, or according to the payment schedule agreed with Klarna if you chose it.
We never have access to your card numbers. We will never ask you to pay by bank transfer, by PayPal Friends and Family or by Western Union.

- Shipping cost to France: €6.99 per order.
- Seiko 5 Sports in stock: 2 to 4 working days between order and receipt in France.
- Seiko 5 Sports GMT in stock: 9 to 15 working days between order and receipt in France.

The estimated delivery date is displayed on each product page before purchase. Before shipping, you receive a video of your watch with its serial number, then a shipping e-mail with the parcel tracking link. You can track your order at any time on the Track my order page, with your order number and the e-mail used to pay.
The watch travels at our risk: you become responsible for it when you, or a person you have designated, take physical possession of it (article L216-4 of the French Consumer Code). On receipt, we advise you to check the condition of the parcel in front of the delivery person and, if it is damaged or opened, to report it to the carrier and let us know with photos.
If the watch does not arrive within the stated time, you can ask us by e-mail to deliver it within a reasonable additional period. If it has still not been delivered at the end of that period, you can cancel the order: we will then refund all sums paid within 14 days at the latest (articles L216-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code).
9. Right of withdrawal
You have 14 days from the day you receive the watch to change your mind, without having to give a reason or pay any penalty (article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code). If your order contains several watches delivered separately, the period runs from receipt of the last one.
How to do it
- Notify us within this 14-day period, by e-mail to or using the withdrawal form. Any clear statement of your decision is sufficient.
- Send the watch back to us no later than 14 days after notifying us, to the address we give you, in its box and with all its accessories (including any removed links, where applicable).
- We will refund all sums paid, including the initial shipping costs, no later than 14 days after being informed of your decision, using the payment method used for the order. We may wait until we have received the watch back, or until you have sent us proof of shipment, before refunding.
Return costs: .
You may handle the watch to examine it, as you would in a shop. You are only liable for any depreciation caused by other handling, for example scratches or signs of wear (article L221-23 of the French Consumer Code).
10. Legal guarantees
All our watches benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity (articles L217-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code) and the guarantee against hidden defects (articles 1641 to 1649 of the French Civil Code), in addition to the Seiwatches warranty. Here is the information required by law:
The consumer has a period of two years from delivery of the goods to obtain the implementation of the legal guarantee of conformity if a lack of conformity appears. During this period, the consumer is only required to prove the existence of the lack of conformity and not the date on which it appeared.
Where the contract of sale of the goods provides for the supply of digital content or a digital service on a continuous basis for a period of more than two years, the legal guarantee applies to that digital content or digital service throughout the planned period of supply. During this period, the consumer is only required to prove the existence of the lack of conformity affecting the digital content or digital service and not the date on which it appeared.
The legal guarantee of conformity entails an obligation for the trader, where applicable, to provide all the updates necessary to keep the goods in conformity.
The legal guarantee of conformity entitles the consumer to have the goods repaired or replaced within thirty days of their request, free of charge and without major inconvenience to them.
If the goods are repaired under the legal guarantee of conformity, the consumer benefits from a six-month extension of the initial guarantee.
If the consumer requests repair of the goods but the seller imposes replacement, the legal guarantee of conformity is renewed for a period of two years from the date on which the goods are replaced.
The consumer may obtain a reduction in the purchase price while keeping the goods, or terminate the contract and obtain a full refund in return for giving the goods back, if:
1° The trader refuses to repair or replace the goods;
2° The repair or replacement of the goods takes place after a period of thirty days;
3° The repair or replacement of the goods causes major inconvenience for the consumer, in particular where the consumer permanently bears the costs of taking back or removing the non-conforming goods, or bears the costs of installing the repaired or replacement goods;
4° The goods remain non-conforming despite the seller's unsuccessful attempt to bring them into conformity.
The consumer is also entitled to a reduction in the price of the goods or to termination of the contract where the lack of conformity is so serious that it justifies an immediate price reduction or termination of the contract. The consumer is then not required to request repair or replacement of the goods first.
The consumer is not entitled to termination of the sale if the lack of conformity is minor.
Any period during which the goods are out of use for repair or replacement suspends the guarantee period that remained to run, until the restored goods are delivered.
The rights mentioned above result from the application of articles L. 217-1 to L. 217-32 of the French Consumer Code.
A seller who obstructs in bad faith the implementation of the legal guarantee of conformity is liable to a civil fine of up to €300,000, which may be increased to 10% of average annual turnover (article L. 241-5 of the French Consumer Code).
The consumer also benefits from the legal guarantee against hidden defects under articles 1641 to 1649 of the French Civil Code, for a period of two years from the discovery of the defect. This guarantee entitles the consumer to a price reduction if the goods are kept or to a full refund in return for giving the goods back.
To claim under a guarantee, write to us at with your order number. The procedure is detailed on our Warranty page.
11. 3-year Seiwatches warranty
In addition to the legal guarantees, each watch benefits free of charge from a 3-year Seiwatches commercial warranty from receipt, which covers malfunctions of the movement and the case. It does not cover breakage, impacts or normal wear of the strap. It is provided by Seiwatches, and not by the Seiko network. Its full terms are set out on our Warranty page.
12. Customer service and complaints
For any question or complaint, write to us at , or by private message on Instagram.
13. Mediation
If your written complaint has not been resolved, you may refer the matter free of charge, within one year, to the consumer mediator: (articles L612-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code).
14. Customer reviews
The reviews published on the site are those of real customers. The ‘Verified purchase’ badge means that we linked the review to a real order (order, payment or sale conversation) before publishing it. We do not remove any review because it is negative.
The home page shows a selection of these reviews, in the order chosen by Seiwatches. The 4.8/5 rating is the average of all 473 reviews left over 3 years on our Vinted seller account, where we were already selling Seiko watches before this site opened.
You can ask for your review to be changed or removed at any time by writing to us.
15. Personal data
We process your data solely to manage your order and our relationship with you. Everything is explained in our privacy policy.
16. Applicable law and disputes
These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, we will first seek an amicable solution with you. Failing that, you may bring the matter, at your choice, before the court of the place where you lived at the time of the order or of the occurrence of the harmful event, or before any other competent court (article R631-3 of the French Consumer Code).
